CONFIRMATION OF PURCHASE
CollegeTransit will issue you an email confirmation when a successful registration is made for your receipt. Boarding Passes are sent separately the week of travel directly to the student.

CANCELLATION POLICY
No refunds are made after you receive the confirmation of purchase. If a waiting list exists and we are able to sell your ticket to another student, we will then refund your purchase minus processing fees.

In the event a trip must be rescheduled due to special circumstances, including but not limited to, severe or dangerous weather, pandemic, or other, and that new schedule is within 36 hours of the original schedule, CollegeTransit will not issue refunds unless waiting list passengers want the seat.

In the event a trip must be cancelled due to special circumstances, including but not limited to, severe or dangerous weather, pandemic, or other, CollegeTransit will issue partial refunds as made possible by the charter bus vendor.

WAITING LIST CANCELLATION
If you registered for a trip’s waiting list and have not had your reservation confirmed, you can cancel your spot. To do so, REPLY to the “Registration” email you first received asking to be removed. As long as we receive that before we confirm your seat and charge your credit card you will be removed from the list. However should you want to get on the list again, you will have to re-register. Please note that once a seat has confirmed and your credit card has been charged, cancellations are no longer accepted.

LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITIES
CollegeTransit LTD’s SOLE OBLIGATION and responsibility is to make arrangements for transportation services. CollegeTransit LTD does not own nor operate buses. DOT licensed and/or PUC licensed bus operators exercise full operational control of trips offered by or arranged through CollegeTransit LTD. The carriers providing transportation services are independent contractors and not agents of CollegeTransit LTD.

The passenger agrees that neither CollegeTransit LTD or its officers shall be liable for any damage for personal injury or damage to person or property of any passenger or by any act or omission of any carrier providing transportation tour services. Notice of any claim for personal injury or damage to property shall be made within 30 days from alleged loss or injury. The Laws of Virginia shall govern any claim for loss or damage to person or property and any legal proceeding must be commenced within one year following the date of trip completion. CollegeTransit LTD’s liability, if any, shall be limited to compensatory damages, and you hereby waive any right to punitive damages.

TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS
In the event that a CollegeTransit LTD service is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, CollegeTransit LTD reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. CollegeTransit LTD reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, CollegeTransit LTD shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

TERM; TERMINATION
These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by CollegeTransit LTD without notice at any time, for any reason. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Trademark, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Miscellaneous, shall survive any termination.

In an attempt to provide increased value to our visitors, CollegeTransit LTD may link to sites operated by third parties. However, even if the third party is affiliated with CollegeTransit LTD, CollegeTransit LTD has no control over these linked sites, all of which have separate privacy and data collection practices, independent of CollegeTransit LTD. These linked sites are only for your convenience and therefore you access them at your own risk. Nonetheless, CollegeTransit LTD seeks to protect the integrity of its web site and the links placed upon it and therefore requests any feedback on not only its own site, but for sites it links to as well (including if a specific link does not work).

BOARDING REQUIREMENTS
Passengers must produce the digital QR code to the driver during check-in. Passengers without tickets will be prohibited from accessing the motor coach.

SPECIAL ASSISTANCE
Passengers, upon ticket application shall notify CollegeTransit of the exact nature of special assistance required for travel. CollegeTransit will make reasonable attempts to accommodate the traveler, but if CollegeTransit is unable to provide accommodation, it shall advise the traveler as soon as possible.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
Passengers must limit their baggage to a single carry-on, such as a backpack or computer bag, plus either one large suitcase OR 2 small suitcases. Neither CollegeTransit nor the Carrier assume responsibility for loss of or damage to baggage or any of the passenger’s property.

SMOKING AND CONDUCT
Smoking is not permitted while on board the motor coaches. Any person whose conduct interferes with or annoys the driver or passengers may be removed by the carrier.
